Search & Rescue Club

Search and Rescue is more than a specialty at LB Canine Training—it’s a passion. We believe working dogs thrive when they have a purpose, and there are few jobs more rewarding than helping locate missing people and supporting our communities when they’re needed most.

Our Search & Rescue program is built on evidence-based training, strong fundamentals, and real-world problem solving. We focus on developing confident, resilient dogs with exceptional scenting ability, environmental stability, obedience, tracking, trailing, agility, and the drive to work as a true partner with their handler.

We’re also excited to be developing a Search & Rescue Club designed for handlers and dogs who want to learn, train, and grow together. The club will offer regular training days, educational workshops, scent detection exercises, tracking opportunities, guest instructors, and a supportive community for those interested in Search & Rescue—from beginners exploring the sport to those pursuing operational goals.

Our mission is to build skilled canine teams while fostering a community of passionate handlers who share a commitment to teamwork, education, and serving others. We believe every training session is an opportunity to strengthen the bond between dog and handler while preparing for meaningful work.
